Lovely two-bedroom, two-bath top floor corner condo ideally situated within the 20+ acre Whitney Beach property located on exclusive Longboat Key. The expansive resort straddles both a private white sand beach on the Gulf of Mexico and the beautiful waters of Sarasota Bay. The beach and the dock area are each a short 200' walk from the front door of the condo. Surrounded by tropical plantings, two heated outdoor pools are 100 - 150 feet from the front door. Private dock/fishing areas and private beach offer chaise lounge chairs for residents and guests. Whitney Beach is an unspoiled, deeded beach and a shelling dream.

Recreational facilities at Whitney Beach include tennis, swimming, and shuffle board. Longboat Key is completely flat and offers a 10+ mile bike path for your riding pleasure.

Bayfront Park -- Longboat Key's brand new park and recreational area -- is just a 5 minute drive from the condo and offers kayaking, basketball, tennis (2 illuminated courts for day- or night-time play), pickle ball, shuffleboard, and a wonderful children's playground.

Other amenities within a 5-15 minute drive include day spas and/or massage, kayaking, jet skiing, water skiing, parasailing, an exercise gym, Segway tours, paddle boards, snorkel and scuba diving, boat rentals, as well as golf (public & private courses).

Sarasota -- a short drive -- offers fine dining, the Ringling Museum of Art, as well as theater and live music. The Salvadore Dali Museum in St. Petersburg is also a must see. Lastly, some of Florida's most well known amusement parks and attractions are easily available in Tampa (Busch Gardens, Adventure Island) and in Orlando (Disney World, EPCOT, Universal, LegoLand, Sea World, and Discovery Cove).
